About Me and My travels
Ibn Battuta, the scholar and explorer once said: "Travelling - It leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller". This quote inspired me to start this blog to share some of the stories and pictures of my travels. I hope it generates enough interest in the readers, so that they may embark on their own travels to see the different countries and cultures.
So when did this wanderlust begin?
Malawi
In the "Warm Heart of Africa", Malawi,. My father was an avid traveler and as a child we visited many countries surrounding Malawi such as Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique. There were visits to Victoria falls, Pristine beaches of Mozambique, sighting of Wild animals when travelling Across Tanzania and hearing the cackling of wild Hyena's in the back yard and more. Visit my Page "Travels in Africa" for more chills and thrills!
India
Then came my teenage years when I had moved to India for my secondary and higher education. Here we travelled the length and breadth of this huge and diverse country. Our travels took us to North India up to the foothills of the Himalayas to the southernmost tip of India called Kanyakumari. A visit to see the Taj Mahal in Agra is an absolute must. Another state worth visiting is Kerala. I was blown away with its lakes, spice gardens, and tea plantations. It is my most favorite place so take a look at my page called "Kerala, Gods own country" for more information.
